From St. Michaels harbor, the wedding trip last 2 hours, and Selina II can accommodate up to six passengers. Weather permitting we cast off lines, put up sails, and follow the wind. Military & Naval elopements welcome. Capt Iris offers a range of ceremonies from traditional to alternative, or your family pastor is welcome to come aboard and perform the wedding. The fee is $650 during the day 10am-12noon, 12:30-2:30pm and 3-5pm. $750 from 5:30-7:30pm, and $875 from 7:30-9:30pm. The fee includes the sail, Maryland State amusement tax, Capt Iris’ officiant fee, a customized ceremony and champagne toast but not the ship’s mate. Gratuities for the mate should be like a restaurant, 15-20% depending on service, and should be in cash the day of the wedding. Our crew is very good at taking photos and they earn their tips! . Selina II’s staff helps couples skip the stress of working with wedding planners by creating a personalized nautical event to treasure through each anniversary. Couples can choose from an array of ceremony enhancements including Photography, Videography, live violinist or bag piper, premium wedding cake, custom music program, etc. With full sails up, Selina II’s brightly polished bronze and freshly varnished wood sets the stage for wedding photographs that are unforgettable. Out of season, from Nov 1 – April 30, Capt Iris steps ashore and offers her officiant services for engaged couples looking for a non-church wedding. A completely customized service that says ‘you’ is a specialty. Let Capt Iris help you speak your heart, or simply say ‘I do’.

We can accommodate groups larger than 6 by staying in port with Selina II tied to the dock. The couple and up to 10 of their family & best friends are welcome aboard (total 12 aboard), with the rest of the wedding guests on the wharf overlooking the boat and enjoying the service from the shore side. Enjoy a champagne toast following the service (pricing is based on number of guests) and invite your guests to proceed to your reception site for cocktails. Then you two join Capt Iris for an intimate 1 hr sail for just for the two of you to soak up the romance and enjoy the moment. Afterwards, join your guests and celebrate! at your catered reception site.

Aboard the “Selina II”, Capt Iris Clarke is also an ordained minister, allowing her to offer you a customized ceremony from traditional to alternative, creating your own personalized Love Boat experience. Plan A – Everything is perfect!  Plan B – if it is only raining slightly, and there is not excessive wind we can put up an awning and get out on the water anyway, we just cant put up sails.  Plan C -it’s too nasty to go out so we simply go below decks, and enjoy the interior ambiance of a historic yacht.  Plan D – it is too hot and too close to go below, so we find a place under cover shore side and have the service there.  Plan E – reschedule to the next morning assuming you & your guests are spending the night in St Michaels.
