You will need to have a Marriage License from the Talbot County court house located in Easton. You can get this in person or by mail, but it must be in your possession at least 2 days before the ceremony. The license is valid for 6 months after it is issued, and you must be married in Talbot County. You can look at the county’s web site here:

You can either apply for the license in person or get it through the mail, (so convenient!). MaryAnne Shorthall is the clerk of the court and her number is 410-770-8010 if you have questions.
